domain

how it startet

Back in 2001, I was knee-deep in "Wedding Peach" fandom, totally smitten with the anime. Inspired by my love for the series, I dove headfirst into web design, even though my early attempts were, let's be real, pretty rough. But hey, we all start somewhere, right?
Then came "Final Fantasy", adding fuel to my creative fire. But it wasn't until Christmas 2004 that things got real — I got my very own domain, "amabarenya.net", as a gift. Yet, life had other plans, and my interest in web design took a backseat for a while.
Fast forward to a few years later, and the itch to create returned. "Himmelsspiegel.net" became my new playground, a space where I could unleash my creativity once again. But as life goes, things change, and eventually, I had to let it go.
But you know what? I wasn't ready to give up just yet. So, I took matters into my own hands and bought my own domain, financed by my own hustle and determination. And now, here I am, the proud owner of my very own corner of the internet.
It's been a journey of ups and downs, twists and turns, but through it all, my passion for web design has never wavered. Here's to the next chapter, where the possibilities are endless, and creativity knows no bounds!

name

the story behind the name

The name "Midnight-Cloud.net" is not just a name; it's a vibe, a whole mood. Picture this: a character in Eternal Sonata, March, wielding these badass moon rings, conjuring up this epic attack called "Midnight Cloud". I mean, how cool is that? ... Ok let’s be real: the attack itself wasn’t that epic. It had style, sure, but it wasn’t this jaw-dropping, screen-shattering move. Instead, it was more about the quiet coolness — the aesthetic of conjuring a midnight storm with those moon rings.
So, here's the deal — I was totally vibing with this scene, feeling the beauty in the sound and the magic of the moment. And then it hit me — I had to name my domain after it. "Midnight-Cloud.net became my digital playground, where creativity runs wild, especially when the stars are out. I wanted my domain to really capture that ethereal, mysterious energy — like a storm brewing under moonlight. The name alone feels like an invitation to a world where the night sky isn't just a backdrop, but a dynamic force. So what IS "Midnight-Cloud.net"?
It’s like a portal to something similarly captivating — whether it's art, storytelling, or even gaming culture; a tribute to my late-night bursts of inspiration, you know? When the world sleeps, that's when my imagination kicks into high gear. So, yeah, that's the story behind the name — inspired by a game, infused with my own creative energy, and ready to take on the digital cosmos.

about me

Hi, I’m Christina—a designer, dreamer, and creative spirit living in Wuppertal, near Düsseldorf, with my husband. Our apartment is my personal project space, always evolving with new ideas, fun finds, and creative updates. Work can be demanding, but I find my balance through digital design, home decor, and indulging in my favorite hobbies.
Design is at the heart of everything I do. Using Adobe Photoshop, I create vibrant visuals, build engaging websites, and design character shrines that pay tribute to the fictional heroes who inspire me. I also have a soft spot for pixel art—something I’ve always adored. After diving into the fanlisting community, I realized how much I want to revive those old-school cliques and bring them to life with cute pixel sprites. It's my way of combining nostalgia with creativity and welcoming others into a space that feels like home.
When it comes to gaming, League of Legends is where I spend much of my time. As a summoner, I love the thrill of strategy and teamwork. But I’m also all about the classics—pixel games like Terranigma and Secret of Mana are some of my all-time favorites. The revival of pixel-style games excites me, and I’m always eager to see new pixel projects come to life. There's something so nostalgic and charming about those retro graphics that never goes out of style.
Outside of design and gaming, I’m a huge dog lover, especially when it comes to brown poodles and dachshunds. While I can’t have a pup right now, I know that one day I’ll welcome one into my life. For now, I’m content with soaking up the joy dogs bring from afar.
As a proud Hufflepuff, I value loyalty, patience, and kindness—qualities that drive everything I do, from personal projects to the way I engage with the online communities I love. I’ve always been drawn to close-knit, joinable cliques, where people come together to share passions and build something special. It’s that sense of belonging and creative exchange that keeps me inspired.

In the end, it’s the small things that keep me grounded: the scent of spring after a long winter, the sparkle of dragonflies in the sun, or the joy of discovering a new pixel game. These little moments are where I find magic and inspiration.

Whether I’m designing a website, decorating a space, or reviving a cique with pixel art, I’m always looking for ways to bring creativity, nostalgia, and community into the things I love.
